Job Summary
Intermodal truck driver responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis with 100% no-touch freight (50% drop-and-hook). Drive in and out of railyards within 125 miles of Chicago, IL. Qualified candidates hold a valid Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred; must meet 3+ months of CDL experience and reside within 25 miles of Chicago/Elwood, IL. Schedule is full-time with home time daily and insurance and support from Schneider’s intermodal network.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Tanker endorsement strongly preferred
- HazMat endorsement strongly preferred
- Live within 25 miles of Chicago, IL or Elwood, IL
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience
