Job Summary
Intermodal truck driver needed to haul containers secured to company-owned chassis within 80 miles of South El Monte, CA. 99% no-touch freight with approximately 80% drop-and-hook. Primary routes involve driving in and out of railyards and may include operation of a battery-electric Freightliner eCascadia. Schedule is full-time with nightly driving on this account, home daily, and potential for paid orientation, PTO after 6 months, holiday pay, and an annual bonus up to 3% of annual gross. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and military benefits. Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, are offered; E-Verify is used for employment eligibility. Lead-in requirements include a valid CDL-A, 6+ months of experience, and endorsements (HazMat/Tanker strongly preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Night driving required
- Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement strongly preferred
- Live within 20 miles of South El Monte, CA
