Job Summary
Intermodal truck driver needed to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. 100% no-touch freight that is 85% drop-and-hook, with home time weekly. Drive in and out of railyards within AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN and VA. Compensated via mileage pay, load pay, and hourly pay while on duty, plus a longevity bonus (3% of annual gross pay) and a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in the first year. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and paid orientation/time off after 6 months. Requires CDL-A, hazmat endorsement within 90 days, tanker endorsement strongly preferred; live within 100 miles of Savannah, GA; minimum 3 months CDL driving experience. Specific training and equipment designed for driver comfort; E-Verify compliance. Lead roles, inclusivity, and ADA accommodations supported.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Tanker endorsement strongly preferred
- HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
- Live within 100 miles of Savannah, GA
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience
