Job Summary
Intermodal truck driver needed to haul freight containers with company-owned chassis. 99% no-touch freight, 90% drop-and-hook, driving in and out of railyards within Oregon and Washington. Pay includes hourly base rate of $15 for all on-duty hours plus $22-$32 per completed shipment; paid orientation; PTO after 6 months and holiday pay; annual bonus up to 3% of annual gross. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match. Must hold valid CDL-A; tanker and HazMat endorsements strongly preferred; live within 40 miles of Portland, OR; minimum 3 months of CDL experience. Full-time role with Schneider Intermodal driving benefits and ADA accommodations available upon request.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred
- Live within 40 miles of Portland, OR
- Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience
