Job Summary
Intermodal truck driver responsible for hauling containers secured to company-owned chassis with 99% no-touch freight (80% drop-and-hook). Drive in and out of railyards within 80 miles of South El Monte, CA, with potential to operate a battery electric Freightliner eCascadia. Average weekly pay ranges $1,380-$1,680, with mileage/ load pay and hourly pay while on duty. Benefits include paid orientation, PTO after 6 months, holidays, annual bonus up to 3% of annual gross, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and extensive driver support. Schedule focuses on night driving; location is El Monte, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Night driving required
- Tanker endorsement strongly preferred
- HazMat endorsement strongly preferred
- Live within 20 miles of South El Monte, CA
