Job Summary
Intermodal truck driver hauling containers secured to company-owned chassis with 99% no-touch freight (80% drop-and-hook). Drive in and out of railyards within ~80 miles of South El Monte, CA; potential to operate a battery electric Freightliner eCascadia. Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay on duty (not driving); paid orientation; PTO after 6 months and 6 holiday days/year; annual bonus up to 3% of annual gross. Requires valid CDL-A with preferred Tanker and HazMat endorsements; night driving. Company provides medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and military benefits; E-Verify participation. Specific training available with paid orientation at a major hub; inclusive culture and ADA accommodations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- CDL-A with Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement preferred
- Live within 20 miles of South El Monte, CA
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Night driving required
