Job Summary
Haul dry bulk commodities in a pneumatic truck along local routes during the main season from spring through fall, with occasional overnights as necessary. Drive Monday through Friday, occasionally working Saturdays. Maintain a violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse record and adhere to company protocols while passing the required DOT physical, drug test, and road test. Earned PTO and paid holidays are included in the compensation package, alongside a quarterly performance bonus. Paid training is available for those with 12 months of experience and a CDL school certificate, though TransWood does not provide CDL training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A
- Recent verifiable CDL-A experience: 24-months, or 12-months and CDL school certificate
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents (some restrictions apply)
- Violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must pass DOT physical, drug test, and road test
- Must be 24 years of age and older
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to company protocols
