Job Summary
Haul dry bulk commodities in a pneumatic tank along local routes during the main season from spring through fall, with occasional overnights as necessary. Maintain a violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse record and adhere to company protocols while operating a CDL-A vehicle. Complete a road test and DOT physical examination, and pass a drug test to begin earning a weekly minimum guarantee of $1,300, with potential earnings up to $2,000. Work Monday through Friday, occasionally on Saturdays, and receive paid training. Note that TransWood does not provide CDL training; candidates must possess recent verifiable experience or a CDL school certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A
- Recent verifiable CDL-A experience: 24-months, or 12-months and CDL school certificate
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must pass DOT physical, drug test, and road test
- Must be 24 years of age and older
