Job Summary
Haul dry bulk commodities in a pneumatic tank along local routes during the main season from spring through fall, with occasional overnights as necessary. Maintain a violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse record and adhere to all company protocols while operating a CDL-A truck. Complete a road test and DOT physical, and pass a drug test to begin work. Earn $1,500 to $2,000 weekly with a $1,300 minimum guarantee and work Monday through Friday, occasionally on Saturdays. Note that TransWood does not provide CDL training; candidates must possess recent verifiable experience or a CDL school certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A
- Recent verifiable CDL-A experience: 24-months, or 12-months and CDL school certificate
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must pass DOT physical, drug test, and road test
- Must be 24 years of age and older
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to company protocols
