Job Summary
Drive pneumatic trucks hauling dry bulk commodities on local routes during the main season from spring through fall. Operate Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and occasional overnights as necessary. Maintain a violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse record, pass the DOT physical, drug test, and road test, and adhere to all company protocols. Earn a weekly minimum guarantee of $1,300 with potential earnings up to $2,000, plus access to BCBS medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, HSA, earned PTO, paid holidays, and paid training. Note that TransWood does not provide CDL training; candidates must possess a valid CDL-A and recent verifiable experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A
- Recent verifiable CDL-A experience: 24-months, or 12-months and CDL school certificate
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Violation-free FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must pass DOT physical, drug test, and road test
- Must be 24 years of age and older
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to company protocols
