Job Summary
Experienced CDL A flatbed company driver needed to haul fabricated steel across multiple western states. Role involves local and regional backhaul loads with weekly home time and a focus on family/work-life balance. Starting pay includes CPM with annual increases (starting at .63 CPM, rising with tenure) and hourly pay in some locations ($25.00 in Utah, $28.00 in Arizona for loads under 100 miles plus mileage). Additional pay for tarping backhaul loads ($50 per tarp), safety inspection bonus, and comprehensive benefits (insurance, 401(k) with company match after 90 days). Equipment includes newer model trucks; must meet DOT and drug screening requirements. Eligible routes cover West Jordan, UT; Pocatello, ID; Henderson, NV; El Mirage, AZ; Phoenix, AZ; and nearby regions with occasional trips beyond local areas. Must be able to secure freight by hand and maintain safe driving standards; strong home-time balance and dedicated support staff provided.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- 1 year of Flatbed driving experience required; 2 years preferred
- No more than 2 moving violations in 12 months
- No speeding 15 MPH or more in 3 years
- No rollovers or abandonment
- Secure freight by hand
- Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen
