CDL A - Drop and Hook Driver

Job Summary
Class A CDL Driver for drop and hook operations responsible for safe, timely pickup, transport, and delivery of tires. Duties include exchanging loaded and empty trailers at customer locations and yards, ensuring loads are secured per DOT safety requirements, completing pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections, and maintaining DOT logs and required paperwork. Role requires professional interactions with customers and dispatch, adherence to safety policies, and ability to handle basic cash payments when required. Must navigate routes using maps/GPS, perform yard moves as needed, and support tire removal operations as part of the Liberty Tire Recycling team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 22 years old
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Must meet all FMCSA driver qualification requirements
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with DOT standards
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent Class A CDL driving experience
