Job Summary
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul routes hauling no-touch freight between Minnesota, North Carolina, and other markets. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain electronic logs, and communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries and operational updates. Deliver freight on time while adhering to DOT and FMCSA regulations, company safety procedures, and defensive driving practices. Report equipment issues promptly and maintain a professional appearance. Work 2,500 to 2,700 miles weekly with home time every week, including two full days off, earning approximately $85,000 to $93,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Oakdale, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of New Hope, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Charlotte, NC
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- Ability to pass all DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- SAP drivers may be considered if the program has been successfully completed and driving privileges have been fully reinstated
