Job Summary
Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul routes hauling no-touch freight while maintaining DOT and FMCSA compliance. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurately maintain electronic logs, and communicate with dispatch regarding routes and operational updates. Deliver freight on time to customers and shippers across Minnesota, North Carolina, and other markets while following all safety procedures and defensive driving practices. Report maintenance concerns promptly and ensure a clean professional appearance. Work 2,500 to 2,700 miles per week with weekly home time, out five to five-and-a-half days, and home for two full days each week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Oakdale, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of New Hope, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Charlotte, NC
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- Ability to pass all DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
