Job Summary
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul routes hauling no-touch freight between Minnesota, North Carolina, and other markets. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain electronic logs, and communicate with dispatch while adhering to DOT and FMCSA regulations. Deliver freight on time, report equipment issues promptly, and follow all safety procedures and defensive driving practices. Work 2,500 to 2,700 miles per week with weekly home time, rotating out five to five-and-a-half days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Oakdale, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of New Hope, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Charlotte, NC
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- Ability to pass all DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
