Job Summary
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on regional and long-haul routes hauling no-touch freight between Minnesota and North Carolina. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain electronic logs, and communicate with dispatch while adhering to DOT regulations and safety procedures. Deliver freight on time with a clean professional appearance, reporting equipment issues promptly. Work 2,500 to 2,700 miles per week with weekly home time, out 5 to 5.5 days, and home for two full days each week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Oakdale, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of New Hope, MN
- Must live within a 40-mile radius of Charlotte, NC
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- Ability to pass all DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
