Job Summary
Deliver equipment to customers as a Class A CDL Driver for United Rentals; operate semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) in accordance with DOT classifications CDL-A; maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections; adhere to safety regulations; provide exceptional customer service and serve as a company ambassador; typically home every night; responsibilities include drop-offs/pickups, equipment operation, suggesting additional equipment or supplies, and other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
- Diligent attention to safety
- Safety Sensitive position per company policy
