Job Summary
CDL-A Driver responsible for delivering equipment to customers as part of United Rentals. Drop off and pick up equipment, operate semi-trucks and trailers consistent with CDL-A, maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections, adhere to safety requirements and DOT regulations, and provide exceptional customer service. The role is local with home every night. Requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 2 years of DOT-regulated driving experience, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and strong safety and communication skills. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering reliable service to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience (minimum 2 years)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
