Job Summary
Deliver equipment to customers and pick up/drop off equipment as needed. Operate Class A CDL vehicles and related equipment (including boom cranes) in a safe, timely, and courteous manner, maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections, and provide exceptional customer service. Frequent interaction with customers as a company ambassador; home every night. Responsibilities include operating semi-trucks/trailers, meeting DOT classifications, suggesting additional equipment or supplies, and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
- Diligent attention to safety
- Experience operating construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys)
- Operate boom trucks and cranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
