Job Summary
Deliver, set, and pick up storage containers, ground-level office units, and office trailers using roll-off or tilt-bed equipment in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. Perform accurate pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain driver logs, and follow all DOT regulations. Safely block, level, and secure units onsite while interacting professionally with customers to confirm placement and ensure satisfaction. Assist in yard operations including cleaning, organizing, and performing minor repairs to containers and mobile offices. Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate schedules and report site or equipment issues. Maintain a clean vehicle appearance and adhere to OSHA safety standards. Valid CDL A license with two years of DOT experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of DOT regulated driving experience
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record meeting DOT standards
- Ability to perform physical work, including climbing, lifting, and use of tools for set-up and leveling
- Commitment to safe work practices, quality service, and customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Clear DOT drug test history
- Knowledge of GVW's, state regulations regarding height and weight maximums
- Knowledge of winch operations, HAZMAT transport, placarding
- HAZMAT endorsement/OSHA familiarity/training
