Job Summary
Drop off and pick up equipment for customers and operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers, consistent with DOT classification and CDL-A standards. Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, and maintain driver's logs while completing pre-trip inspections. Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need and perform other duties assigned as needed. This safety-sensitive position requires a valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record, a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
- Diligent attention to safety
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
