Job Summary
Load, unload, and deliver milk products from the warehouse to customer locations while verifying shipment accuracy and salable condition. Drive the truck over established routes, resolve discrepancies and customer complaints, and collect empty containers or rejected merchandise for return. Perform daily motor vehicle inspections, maintain ELD logs, and complete delivery invoices and proof of delivery as required. Adhere to all SOP procedures, DOT regulations, and OSHA guidelines while maintaining reliable attendance and consistent work hours. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- DOT Class A or B CDL with Air Brake endorsement
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend
- Must be able to routinely lift over 60 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds with a hand-held hook
- Must be able to work independently
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
Desired Qualifications
- 3 months verifiable experience driving Class A or Class B commercial vehicle
- Experience in product delivery and customer service
