Job Summary
Conduct daily overnight runs transporting product to customers in Colorado and Southern New Mexico, operating a tractor/trailer in accordance with DOT guidelines and traffic laws. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure cargo, and make eight customer stops per day while scanning product tags and obtaining signatures. Maintain a clean vehicle, operate the Mobile Electronic On Board Recording Device, and promptly report any equipment issues or accidents. Requires a current Class A CDL, two years of verifiable tractor trailer experience, and a DOT medical card. Includes 40 hours weekly with Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High School Diploma / GED
- (2) years verifiable tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the past (3) years
- No more than (2) moving violations within the past (3) years
- No more than (3) moving violations within the past (7) years
- No DUIs within the last (7) years
- No reckless driving, speeding 15mph and over, leaving the scene of an accident in the past (3) years
- No at-fault DOT recordable accidents in the past (3) years
- Current Class A CDL
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to obtain a new DOT certified medical card
- Ability to pass a WorkWell Physical Abilities test
- Ability to pass a road test
