Job Summary
Transport and deliver freight over long distances in a safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner using late model Freightliner tractors pulling 53' reefer trailers. Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws, ensuring operations remain fully compliant. Represent the company and trucking industry in a professional manner while adhering to strict guidelines regarding no touch freight and no backhauling through outside customers. Work flexible schedules including 6-1, 6-2, and 5-2 rotations with an anticipated two days off per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 1-year CDL Class A driving tractor trailer or reefer experience required
- Must be able to perform repetitive overhead lifting up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to perform single lifting of heavy objects which can weigh up to 60 lbs
- Must be able to lift objects using mechanical assistance
- Must be available for work schedules: 6 and 1, 6 and 2, 5 and 2 (Tues-Sat), (Sun-Thurs), (Sat-Wed)
- Must be available for Anticipated home time is 2 days off per week (48 hours)
- Must be able to average minimum 2,500+ miles per week
- Must be able to transport and deliver freight over the road over long distances in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner
- Must be able to complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations
- Must be able to ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Must be able to represent the Company and the trucking industry in a professional manner
- Must be able to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
- Must be able to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
