Job Summary
Conduct dry van freight operations primarily east of Interstate 35 with no-touch loads and approximately 70% drop-and-hook freight. Operate assigned 2022 or newer automatic Kenworth and Freightliner tractors equipped with APUs, avoiding deliveries within New York City's five boroughs. Complete a 4 to 6-week paid training program with an experienced trainer if a new CDL-A holder, earning guaranteed weekly pay during orientation. Earn average weekly compensation of $1,300 to $1,550, with top performers reaching $1,800+, working typical routes of 2,200 to 2,800 miles on a 12 days on/2 days home schedule.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Safe driving record
- Six months of recent OTR experience or graduation from an accredited CDL program
- Ability to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test
