Job Summary
Transport hazardous materials to customer sites, utilizing pumps and transfer hoses to deliver "mini-bulk" orders. Perform materials handling tasks, including lift gate and inside delivery, while conducting light equipment maintenance and participating in inventory counts. Adhere to all DOT standards and regulations, handling physical demands such as heavy lifting in various environmental conditions. Schedule includes daily routes Monday through Friday with a 40-hour base plus available overtime, with drivers typically home every night. HazMat and Tanker endorsements are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of driving experience with an active CDL Class A license
- Haz Mat endorsement
- Air Brake endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Current DOT Hazardous Materials Regulations Certificate
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to obtain a TWIC Card
- Ability to meet medical clearance requirements
- Must be available for Monday-Friday with a 40 hour schedule
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be able to handle physical demands of the job including heavy lifting
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions
- Must adhere to all DOT standards and regulations
- Must be able to utilize pumps and transfer hoses
- Must be able to offer lift gate, inside delivery, and other specialized services
- Must be able to perform materials handling tasks
- Must be able to perform light equipment maintenance
- Must be able to participate in inventory counts
- Must be able to participate in plant-wide activities
- Must agree to undergo a background check
- Must agree to undergo a drug screening
- Must consent to background check verification of employment history
- Must consent to background check verification of educational credentials
Desired Qualifications
- Accident-free driving history of at least five years
- Active TWIC Card
