Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Inspect bills of lading, store keys, and maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions. Drive tractor-trailers to destinations while applying commercial driving regulations and maneuvering vehicles on roads and customer premises. Unload trailers and deliver products to customer premises. Submit DOT inspection reports indicating condition. This role supports McLane's nationwide distribution network for restaurant, retail, and e-commerce clients.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
