Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Inspect bills of lading, store keys, and maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipts and product temperatures. Drive tractor-trailers to destinations, maneuvering vehicles on road and customer premises while unloading product. Apply commercial driving regulations and skill to ensure safe delivery. Submit DOT inspection reports indicating condition. This role supports McLane's nationwide distribution network serving restaurant, retail, and e-commerce clients. Drivers must hold a valid Class A license with at least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
