Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Review bills of lading, store keys, and drive tractor-trailers to destinations while applying commercial driving regulations. Maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions. Unload trailers and deliver product to customer premises. This role requires a valid Class A license, one year of experience, or 50,000 verified miles. Drivers earn $70,000 to $90,000 annually with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for those with 50K miles. Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
- Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen
