Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Inspect bills of lading, store keys, and maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions. Drive tractor-trailers to destinations while applying commercial driving regulations and maneuvering vehicles on roads and customer premises. Unload trailers and deliver product to customer premises. Perform other duties as assigned. This role offers a pay rate of $70,000 to $90,000 annually with a sign-on bonus for verified miles. Candidates must hold a valid CDL-A with at least one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
- Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen
