Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Review bills of lading, store keys, and maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipt and product temperatures. Operate tractor-trailer to destinations, applying commercial driving regulations while maneuvering on road and customer premises. Unload trailers and deliver product to customer locations. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports McLane's nationwide distribution network serving restaurant, retail, and e-commerce clients.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
