Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries. Drive tractor-trailers to destinations while applying commercial driving regulations and maneuvering skills on road and customer premises. Maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions. Unload trailers and deliver products to customer premises. Perform other duties as assigned. This role offers industry-leading pay ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, with most drivers earning over $100K plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus for those with 50K verified miles.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
- Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen
