Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Inspect bills of lading, store keys for off-hour delivery accuracy, and drive tractor-trailers to destinations while applying commercial driving regulations. Maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions. Unload trailers and deliver product into customer premises. Submit inspection reports indicating vehicle condition. This role supports McLane's nationwide distribution network serving restaurant, retail, and e-commerce clients. Candidates must hold a valid CDL-A with at least one year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
