Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailers for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Review bills of lading, store keys, and maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions. Drive tractor-trailers to destinations while applying commercial driving regulations and maneuvering vehicles on roads and customer premises. Unload trailers and deliver products to customer premises. Complete other duties as assigned. This role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 50,000 verifiable miles of experience, and strong English proficiency. Drivers earn $70,000 to $90,000 annually with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for those with 50K miles. Join a nationwide distribution network serving restaurant, retail, and e-commerce clients.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
