Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Inspect bill of lading, store keys, and drive tractor-trailer to destinations while applying commercial driving regulations. Maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions. Unload trailers and deliver product to customer premises. Submit DOT inspection reports and maintain logs according to regulations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
- Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen
