Job Summary
Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports. Inspect bill of lading, store keys, and maintain driver logs documenting delivery receipt and product temperatures. Drive tractor-trailer to destination while applying commercial driving regulations and maneuvering on road and customer premises. Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises. Other duties as assigned. This role requires a valid Class A license, at least one year of verifiable driving experience, and strong English proficiency for safety protocols. Drivers earn $70,000 to $90,000 annually with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for those with 50K miles. Join McLane's nationwide network serving restaurant, retail, and e-commerce clients.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
