Job Summary
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer throughout the Midwest region, transporting no-touch freight while maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, deliver cargo safely and on schedule, and maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel, report maintenance issues promptly, and uphold company safety policies while representing the brand at customer locations. New hires receive approximately one week of hands-on paid training. Drivers must live within 60 miles of designated hubs in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, or New York.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Must live within 60 miles of Mount Vernon, IN
- Must live within 60 miles of Louisville, KY
- Must live within 60 miles of South Bend, IN
- Must live within 60 miles of Grand Rapids, MI
- Must live within 60 miles of Detroit, MI
- Must live within 60 miles of Ottawa, IL
- Must live within 60 miles of Selkirk, NY
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- Ability to pass all DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
- Clean criminal background required for drivers operating Canadian routes
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- Passport preferred for Canadian freight opportunities
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
