Job Summary
Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on regional Midwest routes hauling no-touch freight with weekly home time. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate electronic logs, and deliver freight safely on schedule while complying with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Communicate with dispatch, report maintenance issues promptly, and represent the company professionally at customer locations. New hires receive approximately one week of paid hands-on training. Drivers must live within 60 miles of specified hubs in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, and New York.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Must live within 60 miles of Mount Vernon, IN
- Must live within 60 miles of Louisville, KY
- Must live within 60 miles of South Bend, IN
- Must live within 60 miles of Grand Rapids, MI
- Must live within 60 miles of Detroit, MI
- Must live within 60 miles of Ottawa, IL
- Must live within 60 miles of Selkirk, NY
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- Ability to pass all DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
- Clean criminal background required for drivers operating Canadian routes
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- SAP drivers may be considered if the program has been successfully completed and driving privileges have been fully reinstated
- Passport preferred for Canadian freight opportunities
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
