Job Summary
Safely operate and maintain company CDL vehicles while strictly adhering to security and regulatory procedures. Deliver timely customer orders and prepare accurate paperwork, including loading, transporting, and driving routes without assistance. Collaborate with the operations team and customers to ensure a seamless delivery and retrieval process. This role requires a minimum age of 21, a valid Class A license, and at least two years of route transportation experience. Candidates must meet background check, drug screen, and DOT physical requirements, and possess the physical ability to lift up to 350 pounds. Schedule may be day or night shift. Rate is $25-$27 per hour with full health benefits, paid time off, and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Consistently good driving record
- Successfully meet background check requirements
- Successfully meet drug screen requirements
- Successfully meet DOT physical requirements
- At least 2-3 year of route transportation experience
- Ability to lift at least 70 pounds
- Ability to push/pull bins from 25 to 350 pounds (average 170 pounds)
- Ability to carry recycling bins over, up, and down inclines, stairs and ladders
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
- Strong knowledge of safe, efficient driving practices
- Demonstrable skills in customer service
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Availability for day shift or night shift
