Job Summary
Transport non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials via Roll-Offs, Tankers, Box Vans, and Air Movers while performing labor-intensive remedial tasks like confined space entry, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, and high-pressure washing. Operate light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, aerial lifts, and excavators, and provide administrative support to the operations team. Adhere strictly to safety policies, wear PPE, and maintain all transportation compliance documentation including inspection reports and mileage logs. Work on a rotating shift schedule requiring ability to get to the field office within one hour while on-call for emergency responses, with occasional out-of-town travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of Class A Driving experience
- Current CDL A with a clean driving record
- Current Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements
- No manual or airbrake restrictions
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and alcohol testing
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks
- Must be able to successfully complete OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and other mandatory training courses
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time, overnight, and on an on-call basis
- Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to withstand exposure to dust (chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids
- Must be able to perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively at times
- Must be able to wear PPE
- Must be able to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold)
- Must be able to get to the field office within one hour while on-call
