Job Summary
Transport, remove, deliver, and collect liquid and solid hazardous wastes from customer sites while loading and unloading trucks. Operate various equipment including vacuum trucks and box trucks, secure loads, and perform trip inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness. Check vehicles for mechanical issues, report defects, and maintain logs of working hours and service status. Comply with legislation regarding dangerous goods, driver hours of service, and weights. Deliver paperwork to customers, clean up debris, and provide feedback on operational issues. Requires overtime, weekend work, and manual driving ability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL A with airbrakes
- Hazmat Endorsement
- Tanker Endorsement
- Ability to drive manual
- Overtime as required
- Weekend work may be required
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques
- Strong work ethic
- Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors
- Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
