Job Summary
Perform touch-freight tasks involving lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs. Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy while notifying branch management of potential site hazards. Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading. Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products. Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, always wearing appropriate PPE. Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining independent and team-based effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A CDL license in good standing
- At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE
