Job Summary
Operate a commercial vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, performing pre and post trip inspections and documenting via the standard DVR. Deliver quality customer service while recording and maintaining daily delivery tickets, and communicate service interruptions to Operations staff. Maintain accurate daily records and lift up to 65 lbs. to move recycling containers. Work full-time M-F, 7AM-4PM in Tuscaloosa, AL. Requires a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, and three years of commercial driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be 21 years of age
- At least three (3) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle review
- Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records
- Strong customer service skills
- Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
