Job Summary
Transport heavy equipment from the OKC District to the Casper, WY District, performing safe vehicle operation, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and proper loading/unloading. Manage logbooks to document driving hours, mileage, and delivery details while adhering to FMCSA guidelines and local regulations. Handle emergencies such as breakdowns or accidents. Routes include some overnights during the work week.
Required Qualifications
- CDL A
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overnights
- Must be able to safely drive and maneuver large vehicles
- Must be able to perform routine inspections of their vehicle before and after trips
- Must be able to secure loads properly
- Must be able to manage and maintain logbooks
- Must be able to adhere to federal, state, and local regulations related to driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo safety
- Must be prepared to handle emergencies or unexpected situations, such as breakdowns, accidents, or hazards
