Job Summary
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies. Safely load and unload metal materials using appropriate equipment, secure the load, and perform manual tarping if necessary. Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete accurate delivery records, and handle local runs with opportunities for out-of-state trips. Requires a valid CDL-A license, clean MVR, and experience with 18-speed manual transmission, flatbed, roll-off, lugger, or open top trailers. Full-time permanent position with overtime after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL A driver's license with a clean MVR and Medical
- Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL-A Driver
- Experience with flatbed, roll-off, lugger, or open top trailer
- Physically fit and able to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
- Familiar with metal recycling processes and materials
