Job Summary
Conduct local and over-the-road deliveries using Class A tanker trucks, managing trips for breaks, fuel stops, and customer appointments while adhering to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL regulations. Safely load and unload products per instructions, operating semi trucks, tank trailers, dry vans, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds. Plan routes around weather, traffic, and construction conditions, working weekends, nights, and holidays to meet delivery timelines. Obtain HazMat endorsement within 60 days of hire. Full-time, home daily schedule with weekly mileage fluctuations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- 1 year of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
- Tanker Endorsement
- Haz Mat endorsement
- Must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions)
- Must be able to manage unforeseen circumstances
- Must be able to safely and efficiently load and unload product according to company and customer instructions
- Must be available for weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations (FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL)
- Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days
- Must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Must successfully complete a DOT physical
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must successfully complete functionality testing
- No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
