Job Summary
Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times, carefully unloading products with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand into designated storage areas. Verify delivery accuracy with customers, obtain proper signatures, and handle collections and payments when applicable. Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and professionally execute customer service responsibilities. Shifts run Monday through Friday starting at 3 AM, with some Saturdays required based on operational needs. Drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL, have at least six months of commercial driving experience, and register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry)
- Minimum of three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
- Must be able to operate manual transmission
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
