Job Summary
Drive trucks to customers in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, completing 10-15 stops daily across 12-14 hour shifts. Safely unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, then verify delivery accuracy and obtain signatures. Handle collections and payments while performing all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. Maintain a 5-6 day schedule including weekends with home daily, working inclement weather conditions. Lift and carry 20 to 80+ lbs of product repetitively. Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse and hold a valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
