Job Summary
Drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times, carefully unloading products with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand into designated storage areas. Verify delivery accuracy with customers, obtain proper signatures, and handle collections and payments when applicable. Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections while professionally managing customer service interactions. Work Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday shifts starting at 3 AM, with a possibility of a four-day work week based on business needs. This role is part of US Foods' team, where drivers build trusting relationships with clients to support the company's mission of making great food easy.
Required Qualifications
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
- Must be available for 3AM-5AM Start Time
- Must be available for Monday - Friday AND/OR Tuesday - Saturday schedule
- Must be available for shifts that end when deliveries are completed
- Possibility of 4 day work week with 1 day off (based on business needs)

- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
