Job Summary
Drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times on routes running Monday through Saturday, typically from 3 AM to 6 AM. Carefully unload products using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, then verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures from customers. Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and handle collections and payments when applicable. This role requires physical ability to lift 20 to 80+ lbs. repeatedly and driving in inclement weather with frequent stops. You must hold a valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements, have at least six months of commercial driving experience, and register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records
- Must register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
